Adaleh Center for Human Rights Studies is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2003. The Center is committed to promoting and protecting human rights in Jordan and across the Arab world. It helps build more just and dignified communities for all through a range of activities and programs with clear and measurable objectives, including:
Promote respect for human rights and the rule of law for all individuals, without discrimination based on gender, race, religion, nationality, or any other status
Build the capacities of civil society organizations and individuals working in the field of human rights and justice administration, in order to strengthen their ability to protect human rights and uphold the rule of law
Defend human rights for all, with particular focus on marginalized and vulnerable groups
Publish reports and studies on the state of human rights in Jordan and the Arab world
Provide training for lawyers, journalists, and human rights practitioners on international human rights law and the rule of law
Offer legal assistance to victims of human rights violations
Participate in regional and international dialogues on human rights
Enhance the role of technology in advancing human rights, by using modern technological tools to raise awareness and strengthen protection capacities
Address human rights in digital contexts, including rights online and in the field of artificial intelligence
Promote intercultural dialogue on human rights through programs and activities that engage diverse cultures and religions
